NSW OTA Zone One welcomes abstracts from individuals and groups who are interested in sharing clinical practice, education, research, and innovation in perioperative and trauma-related care.

Presentations will be featured at the NSW OTA Zone One Education Day.

Location: Club Macquarie, Argenton NSW
Date: Saturday 1 August 2026

Eligibility:
NSW OTA members with two consecutive years of membership who present are eligible for the Best Speaker Grant (valued at $1000).

Suggested Themes:
• Education: Specialty preparation, onboarding strategies, e-learning, professional development 
• Clinical Practice: Surgical initiatives, pain management, complex cases, infection prevention 
• Research & Evidence-Based Practice: Qualitative/quantitative research, EBP implementation 
• Quality & Safety: Staff and patient safety, workforce strategies, quality improvement, patient flow 

Abstract Requirements:
• Maximum 300 words 
• Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) 
• Include: Title, Author(s), Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion 
• Spell out abbreviations on first use
