Join or Renew Your Membership

A registered or enrolled nurse who is actively engaged in perioperative nursing (including anaesthetics, operating room and post anaesthetic recovery unit) in NSW and the ACT.

A registered, enrolled or student nurse not involved in perioperative nursing, OR 

• is nursing outside New South Wales / Australian Capital Territory.

NB: Those who fulfil the criteria will not:

• be eligible for any financial assistance currently available to full members.
• have voting rights

To be eligible for the Retired Members’ Category, the applicant must:

• be a full member who has retired, or partially retired from perioperative nursing (may work on a casual basis in perioperative nursing – to be evaluated on an individual basis)
• have been a member of NSW OTA (or other State/Territory Perioperative Association) for five continuous years prior to retirement

Those who fulfil the criteria will receive:

• reduced membership rate - 50% of current full member rate
• reduced registration rate for NSW OTA Conference – as determined annually by NSW OTA Executive
• ACORN Journal, Suite Talk and other mail outs as per other memberships

NB: Those who fulfil the criteria will not:

• be eligible for any financial assistance currently available to full members.
• have voting rights
